Raffle Prizes

We’re extremely grateful to our brilliant local traders who have donated to our raffle this year. We will publish all the names of the winners here following the festival draw on Sunday 11 June. If you are one of the lucky ones, please get in contact within the next month.

What we do with the money raised

All the Well Street Common Festival stalls and attractions are run by volunteers from Well Street Common Friends. 

Much of the money raised from the raffle, and the rest of the festival, goes back into making sure we can afford to put on the festival next year. Things we spend the money on include the hire of sound and stage equipment, marquees, table and chairs. We can also subsidise attractions like the fairground ride and the climbing wall, so we can keep the cost as affordable as possible, so that we can deliver our mission to make the festival accessible to all.

Raffle terms and conditions

The Well Street Common Festival raffle is run as an under the category of incidental lottery in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.

As such:

  • The prize draw will take place on 11 June 2023.

  • All tickets must be sold at the location during the event.

  • The winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.

  • The winners will be announced on the day. If winners do not make themselves known to the organisers at the time of the draw, they will be notified by email or phone within 7 days of the prize draw closing.

  • The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

  • Winners will have a month from the date of the draw to claim their prize, after this time prizes may be reallocated, returned to the donor or donated to charity.

  • Prizes for services including restaurant meals and shopping vouchers should be used within three months of the raffle draw; later use should be negotiated with the service or restaurant directly. The raffle organisers take no responsibility for prizes claimed after that time.

  • For services and restaurant meals prizes, winners are advised to notify restaurant staff of their intention to use the vouchers at the start of their booking.
