Come and help us spread mulch around the young trees in the Common!
Meet at the orchard in the west corner of Well Street Common, behind the rectory and Groombridge Rd., at 10:00am on Saturday March 2nd. Bring your gardening gloves and a barrow or shovel if you have these.

Join us on Sunday June 11th for live music, BBQ, sport and children’s activities, and a range of amazing stalls from local community members and vendors! Did we mention the dog show?

This year we are taking stall bookings online. Whether you’re a community member or commercial vendor, you can now make your booking safely using PayPal.

It’s that time of year again! Bring your furry friend, and join us on Sunday June 11th for the Well Street Common Festival Dog Show! Whether your dog is old, young, or a performer, there’ll be a category for them to compete in and g for winners

The Well Street Common Festival Cake Competition is back!

Showcase your baking skills this Sunday June 11th. This year’s theme is ‘Beautiful World’ - interpret that in any and every way you want!  Bring your cake creations on Festival Day, Sunday 11 June to the tea tent on the common between 12 and 1pm. Please provide a list of all the ingredients you’ve used for allergen advice.

Prizes on offer in 3 main categories: adult; ages 8-16 and under 8’s. With special mentions within each category too!  More details here

Judging will be at 1:15pm so make sure your bake arrives in time! We are delighted that members of Hackney Wicked Women will be our judges this year! Hackney Wicked Women | Hackney Wick's Women's Institute

Litter picking sessions take place on Thursday evenings during the summer months. Join us and help keep the Common beautiful and free of litter. All ages welcome! Just show up with sturdy shoes and lots of energy.
