Food Vendors

Food Safety Requirements
Any stall planning to sell food will be required to adhere to the Councils Food Safety requirements as set out below. The relevant documentation must be provided by each vendor and submitted to the event planners for review and sign off as part of the application process.
Each vendor will be required to submit the following for review:
Food Hygiene Certificates (Recommended L2 for food handlers and L3 for food handling supervisors);
Food Hygiene Rating Score (Please note the Council will not accept traders with a less than a 3 with regards to their Food Hygiene Rating Scheme Score);
Health & Safety Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, Food Safety Risk Assessments, HACCP Assessment, COSHH Risk Assessment
Written Scheme of Examination for all pressurized Systems (including coffee machines);
Written allergen information on all unpackaged foods;
Sustainability Policy / Commitment to Sustainability Statement;
Evidence that the business is registered to trade with a local authority and have received a recent inspection; and
Completed LBH Outdoor Traders Checklist (Attached);
Each vendor must be able to evidence/have in place the following:
Documented Food Safety Management System (Safer Food Better Business, COOKSAFE or Nationwide Caterers Association) – must be kept with the business at all times and available on the day for inspection;
Evidence of PAT and gas safety records for all equipment;
Appropriate hand washing facilities, probes, fire-fighting equipment, first aid kits etc.
